The Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee decided to reduce diesel prices and fix the prices of kerosene and gasoline of both types (90 and 95) for the period from 1-31 next March.

This came during the committee’s monthly meeting today, Tuesday, to determine the selling prices of oil derivatives locally for the period from (1-31 next March), when the international prices of crude oil and oil derivatives were reviewed during the month of February and compared to their counterparts for the month of January.

After applying the price equation according to international prices, up and down, on all oil derivatives, the committee found a decrease in the price of diesel by 10 fils, so that the selling price of diesel in the month of March became 810 fils per liter instead of 820 fils per liter, and the price of gasoline of both types (90 and 95) remained stable at 945 fils per liter for petrol (90) and 1185 fils per liter for petrol (95).

The committee also decided to fix the price of kerosene for the month of March at 620 fils per liter, based on the royal directives, and to keep the price of a gas cylinder at 7 dinars per cylinder.
