At dawn on Sunday, the Syrian regime forces launched intensive bombardment on the neighborhoods of Daraa Al-Balad in southern Syria, after the collapse of the agreement that took place three days ago.
The Ahrar Houran Gathering said that the Fourth Division militia fired more than 40 rockets towards the neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad, which led to a number of civilian casualties.
The assembly indicated that armed clashes took place at a checkpoint of the regime forces between the towns of Al-Musaifra and Karak, east of Daraa.
The bombing began at midnight on Saturday/Sunday, after the delegation of the Houran tribes left from the besieged neighborhoods in the city of Daraa.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Russian side gave the Central Committee in Daraa and the tribal dignitaries a new deadline, to obtain clarifications from the militants who reject the settlement in Daraa al-Balad, without specifying the duration of the deadline.
The regime forces and the Fourth Division targeted with heavy machine guns the tribal delegation and the Central Committee in Houran, in the Al-Bahar area near Daraa Al-Balad.
The Negotiations Committee on behalf of the people of Daraa said that the request for displacement came as a result of the siege and the harsh conditions that Daraa al-Balad is living in, and it became known to all.
The committee added that the displacement to Turkey or Jordan is intended to enter the territories of the two countries, and not to reach northern Syria.
Since the end of July, the city of Daraa has witnessed an attack by the regime on the city, three years after an exceptional settlement sponsored by Russia. The humanitarian situation worsened with the siege imposed by the regime forces on Daraa al-Balad, the southern neighborhoods of Daraa city, where opposition fighters reside.
