Educating children by using all senses is important and necessary for their correct and balanced development, as this method helps in promoting children’s development on all levels, whether it is sensing, thinking or movement. This is what Nesma Al-Khouli, 36, did after she searched for the best ways to teach her young children in a simple way from the age of months, and she was guided to design interactive books for them.

Interactive books are the easiest way to teach children

Nesma, a daughter of the city of Hiya, Sharqia Governorate, who graduated from an industrial technical institute, said in her interview with “The Seventh Day” that the matter is far from her studies, but her insistence on teaching her children herself made her talk about the simplest ways to teach them and simplify information, by designing interactive books Which I considered the easiest way to teach children, whether the basics of the Arabic and English languages, through social and human behaviors, in addition to the teachings of religion.

She added: “I design interactive books for children from the age of months to 11 years, and I started working 3 years ago. At the beginning, I was looking for something to teach and develop my children’s skills in a different way, and keep them away from electronic devices, and I found interactive books.”

And she added that this type of book is made of broadcloth that is difficult to cut or break and is not harmful to children, and it contains educational and recreational activities, and it is also very entertaining for a child who may sit for several hours browsing these books, and she added that these books work to develop children’s skills and have activities It helps to stimulate memory and visual and sensory concentration, and one of the most important benefits of it is that every mother can design these books for her children, especially by recycling old books and some of her fabrics.

She added that the design of this type of books endears children to learning, especially if they contain cartoon and comic drawings that entertain them and make them look all the time on this information. The environment and respect for people with special abilities, to create an upbringing that respects others and strives to be effective in its society.
