In his speech to Al-Youm Al-Sabaa, Arabi said that his story began when he was in the elementary school after he lost his sight as a result of a retinal detachment at the age of eight, and then with the support of his family, he learned Braille before joining Al-Noor School for the Blind and in only 20 days, which is a period Very brief, and completed his education until he reached the university level with excellence and success, but took the rank of the first in his class in a well-deserved manner.

He continued, “I am the first blind person to receive an honors degree from Sohag University.” He also explained that he is the first blind student who joined the Department of Media and has been studying in the department since its founding in 1975 and obtained an honors degree with honors. He added that his ambition is great, especially in his field of study, starting with the dream of joining a college. Economics and Political Science, which prevented him from being a group in high school and joining law and then transferring him to the Faculty of Arts, Department of Media are all attempts from him to search for the success of his passion and prove that nothing is impossible in front of the belief in a person’s abilities and self-confidence. It is the highest score obtained by a blind student in Sohag since 2008, and he obtained his high school certificate in 2018.

As for the technological skills in education, he said: “During my studies and when I was looking forward to being appointed to the university, I was keen to possess all the skills necessary to be a distinguished lecturer, and since my visual disability prevented me from using the blackboard and traditional methods of explanation, I was keen to acquire computer and Internet skills through my acquisition on certificate IC3 Spark Provided by the Egyptian Ministry of Communications.“

Arabi has also obtained several certificates, training courses and certificates of appreciation. He holds the National Program for Training and Qualifying Youth Leaders presented by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports. He also holds 30 training courses in the fields of human development, entrepreneurship, skills development, qualification and preparation for the labor market, within the SDAP program. , with 110 training hours provided by Sohag University. He holds a training of trainers provided by Sohag University, as well as a skills development certificate within the framework of the Mashwary project from the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports and UNICEF, and holds an IC3 Spark course from the Egyptian Ministry of Communications, and a training course in Microsoft Office 2020 package provided by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Communications (National Academy of Information Technology for People with Disabilities).
