Amman – On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump issued a strong warning to Iran, giving Tehran a choice between concluding an agreement with Washington or the latter resorting to using the Diego Garcia base, indicating that the United States is resorting to the military option.

Trump said in a post on his platform (Truth Social): “If Iran decides not to conclude an agreement, it may be necessary for the United States to use the Diego Garcia base.”

The White House explained on Wednesday that the Iranians are expected to return with more details within the next two weeks.
