China confirms its opposition to “all attempts to annex” Palestinian lands

Ammon – China announced on Thursday its opposition to “all attempts to annex” Palestinian lands, days after the Israeli Security Ministerial Council approved measures to tighten control over the occupied West Bank.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said in a press conference, “China has always opposed the construction of new settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, and has opposed all attempts to annex or encroach on Palestinian lands.”
