Ammon – Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces launched massive incursions into various areas in occupied Jerusalem and a number of cities and towns in the West Bank, including arrests and raids on homes.
Dozens of extremist settlers stormed the courtyards of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque – the Holy Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem from the Mughrabi Gate side, with heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported in a statement that dozens of extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa and organized suspicious tours in its courtyards.
She explained that during the raid, the settlers received explanations about the alleged “temple” and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in the Bab al-Rahma area, east of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupation forces imposed severe restrictions on the access of worshipers and Jerusalemites to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and detained their identities at its external gates.
The occupation forces also arrested 23 Palestinians, including freed prisoners and three women, in various areas in the West Bank, and carried out searches and raids, including attacks on Palestinian residents.
