Ammon – The coach of the Al-Hussein Irbid Football Team, Brazilian Franco, affirmed his confidence in his players’ ability to achieve a positive result against the Iranian Esteghlal team tomorrow, Tuesday, at Amman Stadium, in the second leg of the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League 2.

This came during the press conference held today, Monday, at the Regency Hotel in Amman, where Franco confirmed that the team is ready for the match and is seeking to achieve a result that will ensure it qualifies for the quarter-finals, despite the strength of the Iranian team.

Al-Hussein’s coach indicated that his team adopted a game plan close to defense in the first-leg match that took place in Dubai last week, which ended with a 1-0 victory for Al-Hussein, pointing out that the team will adopt a different game plan at Amman Stadium.

The coach stated that his team is preparing for all possibilities, including extending the match to extra time and penalty kicks, especially since his players trained on penalty kicks yesterday.

He added: “All the players are ready for the signing, except for striker Rizq Bani Hani, who recently trained with the team, but he is still feeling pain and it is difficult for him to be on the list.”

In turn, Al-Hussein Rajai Ayed player confirmed that he and the rest of his teammates are ready for the match with the aim of qualifying for the next round, considering that the team is now searching for the championship title and is qualified for that.

On the other hand, a coordination meeting was held today, Monday, for the match between Al-Hussein Sports Club and the Iranian Esteghlal Club in Tehran, during which all operational, security and media aspects of the match were reviewed.

The official uniforms for the two teams were also agreed upon, as Al-Hussein will wear the yellow and black shirt, while the Iranian team will appear in the blue uniform.
