Ammon – The Jordanian Professional Football League scored 192 goals during 15 rounds, an average of 2.59 goals per match, with the Ramtha team continuing to lead the standings.

According to the official numbers of the competition, Al-Ramtha leads the standings with 33 points from 15 matches without losing, followed by Al-Hussein Irbid second with 31 points from 14 matches, then Al-Faisaly third with 30 points from 14 matches, and on goal difference from Al-Wehdat, which came fourth with 30 points from 15 matches.

The numbers indicated that 144 goals out of 192 were scored by local players, compared to 48 goals by foreign professionals, while the second half witnessed the largest number of goals scored in most rounds compared to the first half.

Al-Faisaly player Ahmed Al-Arsan tops the league’s top scorers list with 11 goals, followed by Al-Hussein Irbid player Youssef Abu Jalbush and Ramtha player Hamza Al-Dardour with 6 goals each.

In the goal-making list, Al-Arsan and Abu Jalbush share the lead with 6 assists for each player, while the fastest goal in the tournament so far was scored by Shabab Al-Urdun player Ali Rabai at minute 1.23.

Penalty kick statistics showed that 23 kicks were awarded during the past rounds, the most of which were for the Shabab Al-Urdun team, with 4 kicks, compared to 3 kicks for Al-Faisaly, Al-Ahly and Al-Salt.
