“Agriculture of Notables” examines the reality of the work of the Jordanian Association of Fruit and Vegetable Exporters

Ammon – The Agriculture and Water Committee of the Senate, headed by Dr. Akef Al-Zoubi, held a meeting today, Wednesday, with the Jordanian Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association to learn about the reality of the association’s work and its future plans.
Al-Zoubi said that the meeting was held to review the services provided by the association and the government’s pivotal role in supporting vegetable exports, the reality of the association’s work and its future plans, and to discuss the obstacles facing the association’s work.
For his part, the head of the association, Mazen Al-Hamarneh, said that the association represents farmers, exporters, and workers in the agricultural and horticultural sector, and aims to promote export, improve the quality of products, and support producers’ ability to compete in local and international markets.
He reviewed the role of the association in helping members in the agricultural sector by raising the level of its performance and improving the quality of the product, indicating that the association provides a number of services, including promoting agricultural exports in cooperation with farmers, and participating in international exhibitions to promote the agricultural product and targeting international markets.
Al-Hamarna pointed out that the association provides technical assistance to members, training, guidance, and updated market information about products, price movements, export potential, and access requirements, pointing to the association’s most prominent achievements and the challenges it faces in supporting agricultural exports.
