Hala News – The House of Representatives will hold a legislative session today, Monday, to discuss the Energy and Mineral Resources Committee’s decision containing the draft gas law for the year 2025.

The Parliamentary Energy and Mineral Resources Committee, headed by Representative Ayman Abu Haniyeh, recently approved the draft gas law for the year 2025, in the presence of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, and a number of stakeholders.

The draft law aims to regulate the natural gas sector and modernize the legislative framework regulating it, in line with economic and technical changes, and contribute to enhancing the security of energy supply and achieving sustainability, in addition to attracting local and foreign investments to this vital sector.
