Ammon – Representative Ibrahim Al-Sarayrah won the position of Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, by acclamation, after his competitor, MP Abdul Raouf Rabihat, withdrew before the start of voting.
Rabihat announced his withdrawal from the second deputy elections, out of honor for God, the King, and his fellow members of the House of Representatives.
Representative Mazen Al-Qadi succeeded in being recommended for the position of Speaker of the Council, while Khamis Attiya won the position of First Representative after obtaining 67 votes compared to 55 votes for his competitor, Ayatollah Freihat.
