The Ministry of Local Administration asked the municipalities, joint services councils, and municipal affairs directorates in the south and east of the Kingdom to continue the medium emergency that it announced last night and to deal immediately with any emergency events that may accompany the weather situation, especially in light of the Meteorological Department’s announcement that the Kingdom will remain under the influence of instability. Showers of rain are expected in separate areas of the Kingdom, especially in the southern and eastern regions, which may be heavy sometimes for a limited period and accompanied by thunder sometimes, and the possibility of torrential rains forming in valleys and low areas during daylight hours, and the risk of slipping on roads in areas that will witness rain, With low horizontal visibility due to dust in some areas of the Badia, in addition to the danger of thunderstorms.

The Ministry emphasized that the municipalities, joint services councils, and municipal affairs directorates in the governorates and districts should follow up on the situation of the areas in them, especially the hot spots, and inform the Ministry on the emergency system of developments immediately, and coordinate and cooperate fully with the administrative rulers and the operating rooms and other emergencies of the Ministry of Public Works and Interior, Civil Defense and the forces The Jordanian Armed Forces and the Greater Amman Municipality in their regions and to provide all efforts and capabilities available to them to confront emergency situations and events that may accompany the state of air instability.
