The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has started the evening maintenance work of the Queen Alia International Airport road from the meeting point of the seventh circle with the eighth circle, starting from Thursday until next Saturday, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate.

The ministry said in a press release issued by the Information and Communication Unit, that the works include scraping, implementing asphalt mixtures and many necessary works.

She explained that the road will be partially closed and traffic diversions will be carried out in several simultaneous stages. The first stage: includes closing the right lane of King Abdullah II Street and diverting traffic to the left lane of the direction coming from King Abdullah II Street towards Airport Road for a distance of 500 meters.

The second stage: includes diverting traffic from two lanes to the left lane on Queen Alia International Airport Street and from two lanes to the right lane on King Abdullah II Street and coming from the Great Arab Revolt Roundabout to Airport Street. The third stage: includes diverting traffic from two lanes to the right lane on King Abdullah II Street. Queen Alia International Airport.

She stressed that the traffic diversions are equipped with all elements of public safety, calling on citizens on the road to adhere to the principles of safe driving and the instructions of its cadres working in the field and the instructions of partners in the Public Security Directorate.
