Today, Tuesday, the Environmental Action Society, in cooperation with a group of restaurants in Irbid, launched a campaign to preserve the environment “Towards a Bright Tomorrow”.

The association’s president, Farouk Hazaymah, told (Petra) that the campaign aims to train restaurant workers to separate recyclable waste from the source, which contributes to behavioral change at the community level.

He pointed out that the campaign will contribute to the commitment to remove waste at specific times and reduce the cost of waste collection while extending the life of the landfill, stressing the importance of strengthening participatory efforts between all parties and civil society institutions to bring about change in the behaviors adopted by many citizens towards the environment and its preservation.
