The General Organization for Social Security revealed that the number of new retirees for the month of January 2022 reached 1,024 retirees, compared to 1,930 retirees for the same month of 2021, a decrease of 46.9%.

In a press release issued by its media center on Monday, the Foundation indicated that the number of insured women who benefited from maternity insurance in January 2022 has reached 580, with a total amount of (612) thousand dinars, compared to (535) beneficiaries of the same month of the year 2021, with a total amount of (575) thousand dinars, an increase of (8.4%).

She pointed out that the number of insured persons who received unemployment allowance in January 2022 amounted to (8471) insured, with a total amount of (2) million and (453) thousand dinars, compared to (30214) beneficiaries for the same month of 2021 with a total amount of (8) million and (583) thousand dinars, a decrease of (72%).

The Foundation added that the number of work injuries in January 2022 reached 2759, compared to (1584) work injuries in the same month of 2021, an increase of (74.2%).

She explained that the number of new effective insured persons for the month of January 2022 reached 3,400, compared to (4,175) insured for the same month of 2021, a decrease of (18.6%).

The Foundation indicated that the number of nurseries benefiting from the operational costs support program during the month of January 2022 reached (131) nurseries, with a total amount of (90) thousand dinars.
