Hala News – Today, Wednesday, the Public Service and Administration Authority launched a questionnaire to measure the opinions of public sector employees about the number of official working days, including a study of the organization of the work week, especially the option of working for 4 days instead of 5 working days, at a rate of 8 hours and 45 minutes per day, that is, an increase of one hour and 45 minutes over the current daily working period.

The authority indicated that employees can share their opinions through the link: https://consult.spac.gov.jo/Survay/ survay_list.php, noting that occupants of educational, medical, and health care jobs in the Ministry of Health are excluded from this study.

The authority explained that the launch of the questionnaire comes in implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, who stressed the importance of listening to employees’ opinions before making any potential organizational decisions, and within the framework of efforts aimed at developing the work environment and enhancing the efficiency of public administration, noting that sharing employees’ opinions contributes to building institutional decisions based on data.
