The Council of Engineers meets the delegation of the Syrian Engineers Syndicate – Daraa Branch Movement

Ammon – The Council of the Jordanian Engineers Syndicate received a delegation from the Syrian Engineers Syndicate – Daraa Branch, in the presence of the Head of the Jordanian Engineers Syndicate, Engineer Abdullah Asim Ghosheh, and the Deputy Head of the Syrian Engineers Syndicate, Engineer Muhammad Deeb Abdullah, within the framework of enhancing professional cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two unions.
Engineer Ghosheh confirmed during the meeting that the union council has been working since assuming his duties on a set of strategic files, most notably digital transformation, modernizing legislation, and enhancing the performance of the union’s funds and social insurance. He pointed out the importance of involving Jordanian companies and engineering offices in the reconstruction efforts of Syria, due to the competence and professional experience that the Jordanian engineer possesses.
For his part, Engineer Muhammad Deeb praised the existing twinning between the branch of the Syrian Engineers Association in Daraa and the branch of the Jordanian Engineers Association in Irbid, praising what the Jordanian Association has achieved in the fields of training, electronic transformation and digital services, and stressing the importance of building on this experience and enhancing cooperation between the two unions in various fields.
Deputy Head of the Jordanian Engineers Syndicate, Engineer Ahmed Al-Falahat, welcomed the guest delegation, praising the level of cooperation existing between the two unions and the union’s keenness to develop professional partnerships to serve engineers in both countries.
In the context of the visit, the union branch in Irbid hosted a delegation from the Syrian Engineers Syndicate – Daraa branch as part of a field program aimed at activating the twinning agreement signed last month. The delegation learned about the union’s experience by visiting a number of different departments and sections, and learning about the work mechanisms in the engineering department in terms of auditing, supervision, and technical follow-up, in addition to learning about the training experience, the electronic services system, and digital transformation in the union.
The Chairman of the Irbid Branch Council, Engineer Mahmoud Rababaa, confirmed that this visit embodies the depth of fraternal relations between the Jordanian and Syrian peoples, and reflects the common desire to harness engineering expertise to support the reconstruction efforts of Syria with the help of its people and in cooperation with their fellow Arab engineers.
The meeting was attended from the Syrian side by the Chairman of the Daraa Branch Council, Engineer Abdul Hakim Al-Khatib, Engineer Musa Al-Zoubi, Engineer Qasim Al-Zawkani, and Engineer Ibrahim Al-Miqdad. Also present from the Syndicate Council were Engineer Saleh Al-Ghuwairi, Engineer Muhammad Al-Habashna, Engineer Muhammad Al-Ababneh, Engineer Samir Al-Khatib, Dr. Linda Al-Hamoud, and the Secretary-General of the Syndicate, Engineer Ali Nasser.
