Ammon – On the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, and in a practical embodiment of the meaning of belonging based on work and achievement, the integrated medical unit, which was donated by Dar Al-Hussam for Youth Work for the benefit of Zarqa Governmental Hospital, was opened today, under the patronage of the Governor of Zarqa and with a wide official and community presence.

The initiative is to establish an integrated medical unit with an area of ​​120 square metres, including 15 equipped beds and a waiting hall, with the aim of supporting the emergency department and enhancing its capacity, thus contributing to reducing pressure on medical personnel and improving the quality of service provided to patients.

The project was implemented within the “Cooperate” initiative in partnership with the Jordanian Golden Company for Electrical Cables Manufacturing, where the unit was fully constructed and equipped to be a qualitative addition to the health infrastructure in Zarqa Governorate.

During the opening ceremony, the Governor of Zarqa stressed the importance of this type of initiative, which reflects the true partnership between civil society institutions and the private sector in supporting national institutions and serving citizens.

For his part, the Zarqa Police Director praised the initiative, describing it as thinking outside the box that reflects advanced community awareness and true national responsibility.

The Director of Zarqa Governmental Hospital, Dr. Awad Al-Khazaleh, also appreciated this qualitative donation, stressing that the new medical unit will contribute directly to raising the readiness of the emergency department and improving the work environment and health service.

The opening was attended by His Excellency Representative Dr. Walid Al-Masry, His Excellency Representative Lawyer Muhammad Al-Ghuwairi, and a number of representatives, notables and residents of Zarqa Governorate.

In turn, lawyer Hossam Hussein Al-Khasawneh, Director of the Al-Hossam Youth Work House, confirmed that this project comes as an expression of loyalty and belonging, and a practical translation of the directives of His Majesty the King that belonging is measured by work and achievement, stressing that the House will continue to launch qualitative initiatives that serve Zarqa and its people.
