Ammon – The Jerash Youth Directorate organized a dialogue meeting yesterday morning, Tuesday, in the presence of the Director of Youth, Abdel-Ilah Al-Mashaqba, and the Communication and Media Department in the Directorate, in the presence of the press and media.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of Youth, Al-Mashaqba, welcomed the attendees and stated that the meeting is an important step to exchange opinions and discuss youth issues, indicating that the fusion of youth in a crucible and a vision that unites their efforts and energies and invests their free time in a way that serves the public and national interest is a main goal for the directorate, indicating that listening to youth has become an urgent necessity in order to reach commonalities.

He pointed out that there are programs that the directorate is working on, such as the Taekwondo program, English language programs for job seekers, English language enrichment programs, in addition to the Ramadan Youth Championship and the Nashama program for preparing academic leaders.

He highlighted the Ministry’s interest and keenness to maximize and enhance the role of youth and their participation and localize the initiatives they propose in a way that contributes to and achieves the desired goals.

The dialogue meeting dealt with sustaining the activation of dialogue and networking between the youth themselves on the one hand, and institutions of culture and thought on the other hand, in order to formulate clear visions to address their problems and enable them to perform their role in the development of local communities.

They added that such meetings would help in drawing broad outlines of the axes of programs related to youth, including youth conferences, and focusing on the real issues in youth reality, with the participation of the youth themselves, as well as the youth’s contribution to finding appropriate intellectual frameworks to discuss their issues.
