Amman – Yesterday, Tuesday, the External Patrol Department seized a vehicle traveling at a speed of 207 km/h on the Azraq-Zarqa Road, violating the speed limit for the aforementioned road at 100 km/h.

The patrols also seized another vehicle, traveling at a speed of 194 km/h on the Mafraq-Zarqa Highway, violating the speed limit of 90 km/h.

Captain Ziad Al-Sharman from the External Patrols Department Operations Room said that the roads will be empty in the hours before and during breakfast, and this may prompt drivers to increase their speed and urgency.

He stated that the aforementioned period usually witnesses the policing of high speeds, emphasizing the necessity of adhering to the law and not committing violations.
