Ammon – Within the framework of strengthening joint union work, the Head of the Syndicate of Engineers, Abdullah Asim Ghosheh, and the Head of the Syndicate of Geologists, Dr. Khaled Al-Shawabkeh, held a meeting to discuss ways to expand the horizons of cooperation and coordination on professional and national issues of common interest.

The meeting formed a platform for direct dialogue between the councils of the two unions, as Eng. Saleh Al-Ghuwairi, a member of the Engineers Syndicate and head of the Mines and Mining Division, attended from the Engineers Syndicate, while members Muhammad Al-Akour and Khaled Abu Halima participated from the Geologists Syndicate Council, emphasizing the approach of integrating roles and unifying efforts to serve the public interest and improve professional performance.

The discussion discussed opportunities for joint work in preparing studies and research papers, especially those issued by the Center for Strategic Studies and Research of the Engineers Syndicate, in a way that enhances the contribution of the two unions in providing specialized technical visions that support decision-makers and support proper planning for national projects.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to form joint technical committees to study a number of priority professional and national files, in a step aimed at consolidating integration between engineering and geology, developing legislation regulating the profession, and raising the quality of project implementation.

The meeting concluded with both parties stressing the importance of regular meetings between professional unions and expanding coordination spaces, in a way that enhances their presence as an active partner in the development process, and establishes a culture of institutional work based on experience, specialization, and constructive cooperation.
