Also, the memory of the Council still retains shining national models, known for their work and prestige, their sincere love for the homeland, and their loyalty to the throne and leadership. They were an example of wisdom and balance, and a role model for those who came after them in that a representative is measured by his positions, not his loud voice, and by his work, not his disputes.
Today, what is required of all the nation’s representatives is to rise above trivial matters, to rise above personalism, and to turn their differences into a difference of opinion and not a rivalry in souls, for the Council is not an arena of dispute, but rather an arena of legislation, oversight, and public service.
When representatives adhere to the spirit of responsibility and present a high-level image of national dialogue and action, the House of Representatives regains its true status: a voice for the people, a support for the state, and a platform for awareness, not sterile debate.
