Hala News – The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasanat, called for sighting the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1447 this evening, next Tuesday, asking God to make it the crescent of guidance, goodness, and blessing for our country and our Arab and Islamic nation.

It is noteworthy that the Council for Fatwa, Research and Islamic Studies, which was established in accordance with the Fatwa Law of 2007 and includes 11 members of specialized scholars and jurists headed by the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, is the final decision maker in proving the sighting of the crescent of Ramadan and the rest of the lunar months, based on legal texts and astronomical scientific facts.
