Ammon – Last Sunday, the Kafr El-Maa Integrated Youth Center for Youth and Women organized a training workshop entitled “Basics of Skin and Hair Care,” targeting women from the local community, with the participation of 10 young women within the age group (17-30) years.
The workshop included main topics that included the basics of skin cleansing, the basics of hair cutting in all its details, in addition to the mechanism of diagnosing hair type before applying the dye, identifying the causes of dye failure, and how to carefully deal with oxygen to ensure safe and effective results.
The course aimed to empower the participants and develop their skills in the field of hair and skin care, and to introduce them to the basics of using dyes and their components, thus contributing to enhancing their professional opportunities and empowering them economically.
In a related context, the Center for Young Women in Al-Wasatia on Monday carried out an awareness session in cooperation with the Nidaa Al-Watan Association, in the presence of 25 participants, which discussed the advantages of membership in youth centers and the importance of localizing youth initiatives.
The session was presented by trainer Majdoline Al-Khatib, where she reviewed the advantages of membership in youth centers, and the mechanisms for benefiting from the programs and activities launched by the Ministry of Youth through its electronic platform, in addition to explaining the mechanism for registering in the available programs and the services that the platform provides to young people of different age groups, which contributes to enhancing their effective participation in training, volunteer, sports and cultural activities.
Al-Khatib stressed the importance of localizing youth volunteer initiatives within the centers, and opening the way for initiative owners to use sports and youth facilities, while providing logistical and technical support and facilitating the official communications necessary to implement their plans and programs. She also pointed out the centers’ keenness to involve young people in preparing and implementing the Ministry’s plans and programmes, in a way that enhances their role as active partners in community development, and establishes a culture of volunteer work and the spirit of initiative among all ages.
