Hala News – The Crown Prince Foundation, through the “We” national volunteer platform, which carries out its work with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund “UNICEF” and in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, launched the “Nasmo” Giving Program, as the first program of its kind in Jordan that allows volunteers to benefit from the balance of their volunteer points documented on the platform to obtain various development and training opportunities.
The Foundation said in a statement that the launch of the “Nasmo” program comes as an extension of its efforts to establish and sustain the culture of volunteerism and community service through “We,” and to appreciate volunteer efforts by transforming them into paths that open up horizons of training, guidance and practical experience opportunities for volunteers, and support their continued participation in serving their communities through opportunities that contribute to developing their professional and personal skills, and enhance their competitiveness in the labor market.
The “Nasmo” program relies on a points system that is calculated according to the volunteer hours documented on the platform, based on criteria that take into account the nature of the activity, its location, the level of its societal impact, and the skills required to implement it, in addition to its impact on developing the skills of volunteers, so that after collecting points, volunteers can exchange them for a variety of opportunities, including training courses, workshops, and specialized professional guidance opportunities, which are provided by the platform’s partners from the public and private sectors, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and companies that support development. Community.
To benefit from the “Nasmo” program, the volunteer must be registered with an active account on the “We Are” platform, and must have collected the minimum points (401 points) through his documented volunteer participation, in addition to meeting the standards assigned to each volunteer opportunity.
