The “Love of the Homeland” holiday is stronger than Valentine’s Day

February 14, 2026 is Valentine’s Day that everyone waits for to celebrate love, which is the most beautiful feeling in life. The love that emanates from the rays of joy and pleasure that radiate red blood cells to make the point of feeling in the heart stronger, more beautiful, happier, more reassured, and more willing to meet those we love.

I mean that Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or Saint Valentine’s Day (in English: Valentine’s Day) is a celebration of Christian origin that many people in the world celebrate on February 14, according to the Western Church, or on July 6, according to the Eastern Church every year, as they celebrate the memory of Saint Valentine and celebrate love and affection, in which lovers express their love for each other by sending a greeting card or by giving flowers, etc. to their loved ones.

But love is not only for a lover or his beloved. Rather, before this love, it is love for the homeland, which is an authentic human nature among the honorable and free people of the world, and sincerity and dedication to work to build and maintain its security, not just slogans and attempts at fawning, falsification, and flattery to reach prestigious positions or obtain a material or other benefit. Belonging to the homeland is part of true love, belief, and loyalty to the national territory, and it appears through longing for the homeland if a person is abroad, as was apparent in the poems of Gibran Khalil Khairan and Elijah Abu Madi, among the poets of the diaspora, and Ibrahim Tuqan and his poem “My Homeland, My Homeland.” Love appears clearly when sacrificing, working hard, respecting the national systems that preserve the homeland’s soil, its borders, its people, and its sovereignty, and participating in the upliftment of society. To be a role model in construction and development.

Let us all celebrate today and consider it a day of national love for the great Jordan, which lives within us and we live for it and with it at every step. Let our slogan today be “Love your countries and abandon your grudges,” and let it be a holiday of dwelling on love for the Jordanian homeland.

Whoever knows love and has experienced it in the moments and moments of his heart knows and realizes that the love of the homeland is a more sacred love and its sweetness is stronger than the love of Saint Valentine.

Every country is in a state of “drunk of love” and the eagerness of “love” and the soul to return to my beloved girl in the sea of love, immersed from her head to her fingers, as Kazem Al-Saher sang on Valentine’s Day. I mean the “Jordanian homeland” that sailed in the time of love, and I do not know anyone other than her, my bird and my flower.
