Hala News – The Minister of Government Communications, the official spokesman for the government, Dr. Muhammad Al-Momani, said that the radio has, throughout its history, formed an ancient media platform that established the concept of modern media, and it continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing community awareness, conveying responsible information, and remaining close to citizens’ issues.

Al-Momani added, in a tweet posted on social media on the occasion of World Radio Day, that the Ministry salutes the professional cadres working in the radio sector, in appreciation of their efforts in maintaining the presence and shine of radio, ensuring the continuation of its professional message and consolidating its position in people’s consciences, in addition to saluting all radio stations operating in various regions of the Kingdom.

Momani stressed that radio was and still is a space for awareness, a voice close to people everywhere, and a solid media bridge, despite the rapid transformations the media sector is witnessing.
