Hala News – Today, Friday, the Greater Amman Municipality carried out demolition work on Taliani Street as part of the strategic project to develop the old neighborhoods of Amman, which includes the development of the downtown area.

According to a press release issued by the secretariat today, the works included the demolition of two buildings on Taliani Street, with the aim of creating a new infrastructure for the area by constructing sidewalks and rainwater drainage networks, and creating green urban spaces and voids that contribute to beautifying and developing the area, in addition to public squares and parking lots.

This project is considered one of Amman’s tourist trails, as the Amman Municipality worked to launch the Amman Tourist Walk downtown.

It is noteworthy that the Amman Neighborhoods Project aims to make traffic improvements and preserve heritage by rehabilitating old buildings and preserving the architectural character of the area, which contributes to improving the quality of life for citizens, stimulating the local economy, encouraging investments, and developing businesses in the region.
