Hala News – The Greater Amman Municipality declared a light state of emergency, starting this Friday evening, in order to deal with the depression affecting the Kingdom.

The media spokesman for the Amman Municipality, Dr. Nasser Al-Rahamneh, confirmed in a press statement the readiness of the municipality’s cadres on the ground to deal with any reports received at the Tlaa Al-Ali emergency room, calling on citizens to call the unified call center numbers (102 and 117180) in the event that any observation is detected.

Al-Rahmana called on citizens to be careful and careful by staying away from valley streams and low-lying areas, and not to throw waste randomly as it may cause the closure of rainwater drainage lines.

He also stressed the importance of inspecting submersible pumps on floors and shops located below street level, and for merchants to take preventive precautions when storing goods in warehouses and settlement floors.

Al-Rahamna stressed that contractors and owners of construction projects should take the initiative to secure building materials to avoid them being washed away and directly causing the closure of rainwater drainage lines.
