Ammon – Dr. Maysoon Tlilan Al-Saleem, a member of the Elite Forum, participated in the meeting held at the Royal Hashemite Court, in the presence of the Head of the Royal Hashemite Court, Mr. Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi, along with an elite group of members of the forum, within the framework of dialogue meetings organized by the Royal Court to enhance communication with intellectual and societal activities.

During the meeting, Al-Issawi reviewed a number of national axes related to the comprehensive modernization paths led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, stressing that the state is steadily moving forward with political, economic and administrative modernization projects, in a way that enhances Jordan’s resilience and ability to face challenges.

The meeting also discussed royal efforts at the regional and international levels, especially with regard to expanding strategic partnerships, attracting qualitative investments, defending Arab issues, most notably the Palestinian issue, in addition to protecting the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem within the Hashemite custodianship.

The meeting witnessed multiple interventions by members of the Elite Forum, which reflected diverse intellectual and societal visions, and presented proposals and ideas in support of national development paths and enhancing participatory work in facing current challenges.

In this context, Dr. Maysoon Tlilan Al-Saleem stressed, during her intervention, the deep appreciation for the leadership role played by His Majesty the King in consolidating the principles of the Jordanian state and leading it with a balanced political vision in light of the rapid regional and international transformations.

She pointed out that the firm royal positions towards the Palestinian issue, and the defense of Jerusalem and the holy sites within the Hashemite custodianship, represent an extension of a well-established historical role that reflects Jordan’s national and humanitarian commitment.

She also appreciated the national role played by the Royal Hashemite Court as an effective dialogue space between the leadership and various components of society, contributing to consolidating the participatory approach and strengthening bridges of national communication.

Al-Saleem stressed the importance of the cohesion of the internal front as the most important pillar of the state’s stability, stressing the necessity of consolidating the Jordanian national narrative and enhancing its presence in the face of the current challenges.

She concluded her intervention by emphasizing the need to rally around the Hashemite leadership and consolidate the meanings of loyalty and belonging, in a way that serves the nation’s progress and preserves its security and stability.
