Ammon – Under the patronage of the Director of the Social Development Directorate, Dr. Hanan Mishal, and in the presence of the Director of the Union of Charitable Societies, Sheikh Moawad Al-Mazna, and a group of representatives of official authorities, the local community, and heads of charitable societies, the headquarters of the Sama Aqaba Charitable Society was opened, coinciding with the launch of the Society’s first bazaar.

The opening ceremony included a royal salute and a welcome speech delivered by the association’s president, Dr. Somaya Al-Bardini, during which she spoke about the association’s achievements since its founding, and what its members provide in terms of handicrafts and products, agricultural seedlings, and various crafts.

Al-Bardini stressed that community work is not just a daily activity, but rather an integrated development message aimed at empowering individuals, promoting solidarity, and establishing a culture of production and innovation.

For her part, the sponsor of the ceremony, Dr. Hanan Mishal, praised the association’s efforts and the achievements it achieved in a short period, stressing that the new headquarters will be a platform for giving and a launching pad for pioneering projects that contribute to comprehensive development, and that the association will be a role model for community work and economic empowerment.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Mishal opened the association’s headquarters and the bazaar, marking the launch of marketing and publicizing the products of the association’s members. The “Leave a Trace” volunteer initiative also participated through its volunteers in a supportive step to empower women, promote productive projects, and serve the local community in its various categories.
