Hala News – Exclusive – Secretary General of the Ministry of Government Communications, Dr. Zaid Al-Nawaisa, said that there is a national dialogue that will take place during the coming weeks in all governorates of the Kingdom to enrich the Jordanian narrative.

He said during his intervention on Radio Hala via the Al-Wakeel program, that the dialogue will involve young people, intellectuals and academics from all governorates, to express their views and present proposals that contribute to enriching the Jordanian narrative, provided that all recommendations that emerge from this dialogue are included in the narrative.

He added that this step comes in response to the vision of His Highness the Crown Prince by launching the “Jordanian Narrative…Jordan – Land and Man” project, which aims to document the history of Jordan and mankind over millions of years, leading to the establishment of the modern state.

He pointed out that there are great stories that must be documented, chronicled and written to the people, in addition to documents and stories that must be announced, indicating that the platform launched by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Heritage Department at the Royal Court will allow all Jordanians, in addition to the systematic academic effort that will rely on the best Jordanian competencies in various fields, to contribute to documenting the Jordanian narrative.

He explained that documenting the narrative carries a basic message that the land of Jordan is a land of stability and civilizational building, and not just a passage for the human civilizations that passed through this country. The narrative will also indicate that Jordanian humans interacted with this environment over a period of 2.5 million years, and contributed to building human societies and the emergence of civilizations.

He explained that Jordan today is a cultural mixture of many civilizations that have passed through this country, which has created a distinct situation that is considered a title in the regional region, stressing the importance of instilling the narrative in future generations to enhance their pride in their history, and that Jordan was not just a transient of civilizations, but was active, influential, and interactive with them.

He pointed out that the way Jordanians live today is a historical extension of the group of civilizations that passed through Jordan and shaped the distinct Jordanian character.
