Ammon – Today, the North Mazar Young Women’s Center organized an introductory meeting about the package of training programs provided by the Ministry of Youth, with the participation of 15 young women members of the center within the age group (12-24 years).

During the meeting, the training programs to be implemented during the coming period were reviewed, in addition to explaining the registration mechanism via the designated electronic link, which contributes to encouraging young women to take advantage of these opportunities and develop their various skills and abilities. The meeting aims to enhance youth participation in national training programs, and enable them to develop their skills in a way that suits their future needs and ambitions, and in a way that contributes to building a generation that is aware and capable of making a positive contribution to society.

In the same context, the Kafr El-Maa Integrated Youth and Girls Center organized an introductory visit to the Kafr El-Maa Sports Club, in the presence of 30 young people from the age group (12-15 years), to introduce the training program platform launched by the Ministry of Youth, in addition to the activities, courses, and events implemented by the youth centers.

The visit included a detailed explanation by the center’s staff, Dr. Fatima Khreisat and Professor Abdul Qader Melhem, about the available training programs, the registration mechanism, and the targeted age groups for each program. Professor Abdul Qader Melhem stressed the importance of these courses in empowering young people and opening new horizons for them in the entrepreneurial, technical, educational and sports fields, and their role in enhancing knowledge and building skills in a way that is compatible with the requirements of the labor market, pointing to the ongoing efforts to make young people aware of training opportunities and encourage them to benefit from them.

These activities come within the efforts of youth centers in Irbid Governorate to enhance youth awareness of national programs, enable them to make optimal use of the available training opportunities, and build their capabilities for effective participation in community development.
