With achievements witnessed far and wide over the 27 years of his accession to power after King Al-Hussein bin Talal, may God have mercy on him, the march continued under the leadership of Abdullah bin Al-Hussein with giving, belonging and loyalty to the homeland, the army and the issues of the Arab nation. Taking the throne on 7/2/1999 was the day of the covenant between the Jordanians and the Hashemites that the process of building this nation will continue and that we will defy obstacles and challenges to reach levels of eminence, development and construction over the long term. 27 years, each year witnessing great achievements and development at all levels of military, social, political, economic, educational, tourism and other aspects in all the stages that Jordan witnessed during the era of His Majesty King Abdullah II, which is considered a continuation and sustainability of the process of construction and development that we witnessed during the era of the late His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, may God have mercy on him.

The achievements are, as is the custom of His Majesty, who is tireless and does not tire without giving work his full due towards the Jordanian interior and the Arab issues, most notably the issue of Palestine and the Gaza war, which took a great effort from him. The whole world bears witness to it, from the beginning of breaking the air siege by starting airdrops of aid to Gaza and ending with working to establish a ceasefire in Gaza while continuing to send humanitarian aid. We do not forget the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II in all the Arab or international crises facing the world. He is the voice of truth and rational balance to repair the rift facing the Arab nation, because the security of the nation does not lie in division, but rather in the collective conscience, by saving and reviving it, that this world must be based on justice and peace, not on war and terrorism.

Remember that Jordan has thwarted and is thwarting every incitement attempt by those with foreign agendas to lure it into anything that threatens its security. And its stability… May God protect Jordan and the Hashemites and our security services in all their joints. .

And let us not forget His Majesty’s saying, “We are a people who say they act, when they make a covenant, they are truthful, and if a matter is entrusted to them, they are faithful to it.” This is not just a saying, but rather it is a state approach, a society’s identity, and an army’s doctrine. It was not a saying in a passing moment, but rather he was drawing a road map for a solid Jordanian role, which does not waver whenever the wind blows, and does not retreat when pressures accumulate in the face of the wind… There are those who plant roots. Being strong does not mean raising your voice, but rather remaining standing when others fall, and maintaining your balance when others lose their compass. This is how a strong Jordan is built: a state that knows when to be silent, when to speak, and when to act, without any non-Jordanian hand holding its strings. Therefore, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Jordanian Duma is at the heart of the historical event and has a pivotal and prominent role in issues at an international level.

Thanks to his international standing and balanced relations, he was able to translate the firm Arab position on the Palestinian issue into influential international resolutions, which reflects the ability of Jordanian diplomacy to combine Arab affiliation with global openness. But it is also a practical testimony to the success of Jordanian diplomacy under the leadership of King Abdullah II, as Jordan has proven that it is a pivotal player in formulating international policies related to Palestine, and that it is capable of transforming principled positions into concrete steps on the ground, and at a time when challenges are still present, what was achieved in September 2025 confirms that Jordan will remain the cornerstone of any serious international endeavor to establish an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, as this is the only gateway to achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region.

With the assumption of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Al-Muazzaz as Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Arab Army continued its path of development and modernization, increasing its combat efficiency and advancing its capabilities in the fields of training and armament, so that it will always remain a modern military institution rooted in its authentic values and open to the requirements of the times. Jordan will continue its efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to consolidate its position as a pivotal country that combines defense innovation and investment openness. His Majesty the King is a military figure with a seasoned and strong military mind, and the Jordanian Armed Forces are considered a priority for him because they are the strong support of the homeland and its impregnable defense. Therefore, when he said the truest in words, they were the most sincere in deed.

His Majesty King Abdullah II about the moral equation that distinguishes Jordanians, establishes their identity, and is embodied in its most beautiful form in the members of the Mustafa Arab Army. Since the founding of the Jordanian state, the Arab army has remained a symbol of redemption and belonging, not only as a regular force, but also as a pillar of the historical national identity. Belonging to it was never a career choice, but rather an honor bestowed, a banner raised, and an oath carried on the shoulder before it was written on paper. Combat doctrine: stability in principle and transcendence in purpose. The combat doctrine of the Arab army is not measured by equipment and equipment only, but rather by a solid triple: loyalty, dignity, and truth. In national moments where emotions are intense and controversy rages, we always return to the voice of wisdom embodied by His Majesty King Abdullah II. It must be noted that the directive reflects a well-established approach rooted in the royal vision since His Majesty presented his discussion papers, which formed a road map for establishing a unique Jordanian democratic model. In the first discussion paper, published on December 29, 2012, the King clearly stated:

“As in the rest of the countries of the world, differences of opinion, for personal or political reasons, express themselves in manifestations that sometimes take unconstructive forms such as rigidity in positions, violence, and boycotts that do not necessarily lead to the desired results… Democracy is not complete except through constructive initiative and acceptance of diversity and difference of opinion.” This proposal was not political theory, but rather an ongoing and realistic practice, tested in every internal situation that witnesses a difference in visions or a multiplicity of methods of expression. Those who follow the path of the Jordanian state in the last decade realize that persistence in this approach – despite the changes and pressures – reflects a deep belief that democracy is not a moment, but rather behavior, culture, and collective responsibility. Respecting diversity of expression, especially in moments when emotions are running high, is not a democratic luxury, but rather a national safety valve.

May God protect His Majesty King Abdullah II, our respected leader, father, brother, and friend. This is how we, the Jordanian people, look at him, and always when we look at the soil of this country, we say, “We are from here, firmly rooted in our Jordanian Hashemite identity and faith.”
