The sister of the man who committed suicide this afternoon, Thursday, by burning himself from the top of the ten bridges in Amman, said on her Facebook account, that her brother had been imprisoned for a period of time and did not receive a non-judgment after his release from prison to be able to work, explaining that her brother had taken a loan. To do a small project to support his family and children.
She added that the Municipality of Amman confiscated his “basket” at the same time that the bank was asking him to pay the premium, and from the intensity of the pressure, he committed suicide without hesitation.
She concluded her post with the phrase, “God willing, the government will be at ease.”

And in the monitoring of the electronic newspaper, “Akhbar Al-Jordan”, to a number of pages and social media platforms, it confirmed that the man who set himself on fire today, Thursday, then jumped over the ten bridges east of the capital Amman, which led to his death, was working as a vegetable seller in Amman. And that the “Secretariat” inspection teams confiscated his rug on which he was standing at the lighthouse signal.

In the same context, the Amman Municipality has not yet issued any clarification or details about the incident, nor has any of the official authorities done so.

Jordan News tried to contact the Amman Municipality to inquire about the incident, but it did not respond.

This suicide incident was a shock to the Jordanian street, especially since the suicide was a young man and the cameras documented the details of the bitter incident.
