Daas says in his publication: “To clarify the magnitude of these numbers, it is sufficient to note that the number of applicants for the Tawjihi exam in 2008 amounted to approximately 58,400 male and female students, meaning that the rate of increase in the number of applicants for the Tawjihi exam for the period from 2008-2014 was close to zero percentage (0%). While the increase in the following six years (from 2015 to 2021) was 116%.
