Ammon – The activities of the “Pickle and Jam Maker Maker” course were concluded at the North Mazar Young Women’s Center yesterday, Wednesday, which was implemented in cooperation with the Vocational Training Foundation – Ajloun Branch and the Women’s Empowerment Department in the North Mazar Municipality, with the participation of (12) women from the local community within the age group (20-38) years.
The course included comprehensive theoretical and practical training on the methods of making jam and pickles at its various stages, starting from the selection of raw materials until the ripening and packaging stage, with the aim of empowering women and preparing them to establish small production projects that contribute to improving their sources of income and enhancing their role in local development.
Engineer Muhammad Al-Dradakah, who is supervising the course’s implementation, confirmed that the training program came within the efforts of the Center and the Vocational Training Foundation to empower women and acquire practical skills applicable to the labor market, noting that such courses open new horizons for participants towards self-reliance and sustainable home production.
The closing ceremony was attended by Engineer Muhammad Hazaima, Ola Al-Naqrash, and Bassem Zuhair, program coordinators from the Vocational Training Foundation, where the participants, trainers and organizers were honored in appreciation of their efforts in making the course a success and achieving its goals.
