What I liked about the American election law is the following:
- They have an electoral college in the form of an independent electoral body appointed by the people and composed of people known for their national integrity.
- The possibility of any citizen to vote through the mailbox distributed in the neighborhoods on the streets in specific places…and the confidence of citizens that these boxes will not be stolen..
- The election results are very similar to public opinion polls, evidence of the voter’s awareness and voting on programs and not panics. This differs from the Jordanian citizen who hopes for someone to succeed but is forced to elect someone else. He changes his mind at the door of the hall and then changes it when writing the paper without knowing his destination.
- The candidates have a large party base with clear programs and goals on which they are held accountable, not 65 personal parties that merge into lists that are not linked by thought or program, and arbitrary divorce occurs among its members the moment they are registered.
- The integrity of the elections, which creates a national motivation and sense of responsibility to participate in them. There is no influence of political money, no matter how rich it is, and there is no marriage between power and money, and there is no influence of satanism, sheikhdom, and empty bullying on the voting results.
- Competitors accept the result, which is considered the people’s choice, which everyone is obligated to. That is why you find in America and Europe 5 presidents alive at the same time. Unlike underdeveloped countries, it is impossible to have two leaders alive together.
..Separation of the three powers in the state, where none of the candidates has the right to do anything but comply with the impartial judiciary and be transparent with the media..
- There is a difference between the ruling party and the ruling party. The ruling party is the one that forms governments, unlike underdeveloped countries, where governments are the ones that form representatives, form parties, and form governments as well.
In the end, there is no room for political reform, progress, and prosperity except by reforming society, which is the source of authority.
