Ammon – The head of the Council of Captains, the head of the Engineers Syndicate, Engineer Abdullah Ghosheh, expressed his deep appreciation for the contents of the Royal Throne Speech delivered by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, at the opening of the second regular session of the twentieth National Assembly, describing the speech as forming a clearly defined road map for the future of the nation and a message of confidence and pride in the Jordanian people and their institutions, and embodying the established Hashemite vision of building a strong state that derives its resolve from its people and continues its path steadily. Despite the challenges.
Engineer Ghosheh confirmed in a statement to the Council of Captains that the Council appreciates His Majesty the King’s praise of the role of the Jordanians who have always been the nation’s shield and support, noting that the speech carried the values of faith, giving, and belonging, and invoking the legacy of the fathers and grandfathers who founded Jordan on the foundations of pride and dignity, so that it remains a nation steadfast in the face of crises, and faithful to its Arab and humanitarian mission.
The Chairman of the Council of Captains added that the Council supports His Majesty the King’s call to continue implementing the vision of economic modernization, in a way that contributes to stimulating growth, establishing major projects, attracting investments and providing job opportunities, in addition to raising the standard of living and improving public services, while noting the importance of modernizing and advancing the educational system and developing the health system and the transportation sector as basic pillars of sustainable development.
Engineer Ghosheh praised the directives of His Majesty the King to complete the paths of political reform, enhance effective party and parliamentary work, and consolidate democratic practice, which constitutes one of the most important pillars of the modern Jordanian state. Regarding foreign affairs, the Council of Syndicates affirmed its support for His Majesty the King’s firm stance towards the Palestinian issue, and its support for the people of Gaza in confronting the aggression, and defending Jerusalem and the Islamic and Christian sanctities, based on the historical Hashemite custodianship.
The Chairman of the Council of Unions concluded that the unions will remain an active partner in the process of construction and modernization, pledging to His Majesty the King to continue performing their national and professional role in the service of the homeland and the citizen, and to stand united behind the Hashemite leadership for the sake of dear, strong Jordan with its people, army and institutions.
