Ammon – Juzour Association for Citizen Rights followed with great interest the speech of His Majesty King Abdullah II at the opening of the second session of the House of Representatives, which came in light of the political, economic and security challenges the region is going through.

Juzour Association for Citizen Rights highly appreciated the content of the royal speech, which included and emphasized Jordan’s established strategic positions in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people until freedom and independence and its continued performance of its humanitarian and political duty towards the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and supporting their steadfastness on the land of their homeland.

His Majesty’s affirmation that Jordan will not accept the continuation of Israeli violations in the West Bank and its heart, Jerusalem, is nothing but a clear message to the Jordanian position rejecting all attempts by the Israeli colonial occupation authorities to impose a new fait accompli throughout the territories of the occupied Palestinian state, especially in Holy Jerusalem.

Juzur Association for Citizen Rights believes that the call for the National Assembly to move forward in the process of political and economic reform in a way that enhances the security, stability and renaissance of Jordan reflects the supreme will to confront and overcome the challenges united and to enhance cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities in a way that will raise the standard of life of the citizen and advance his constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Juzur Association for Citizen Rights calls for strengthening the unity and resilience of the home front on the basis of citizenship, which has proven that it, along with state institutions, is capable of confronting challenges and conspiracies targeting Jordan’s security and stability.
