826 beneficiaries of the medical event of the Charity and Charity Campaign in Al-Risha Jordan news

Ammon – The Charity and Charity Campaign at the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) provided therapeutic, advisory and awareness services and personal care supplies to about 826 students and beneficiaries, as part of free medical activities over two days in the Risha area in the Wadi Araba district of Aqaba Governorate.

The implementation of the medical event came within the campaign’s Healing Touch program, and within the framework of its ongoing efforts to contribute to strengthening health services in remote areas, and after monitoring community needs related to the health situation and societal issues in the region by the programs (Jud) and the Princess Basma Center for Development in the Risha area.

The medical teams participating in the event examined 3 cases, which the campaign will follow up through its partnership with the private medical sector in Aqaba. Because she needs more surgical and therapeutic interventions.

It also revealed 3 cases of breast cancer, and they were referred to the King Hussein Cancer Center in Aqaba for completion and follow-up treatment.

The medical event was implemented in cooperation with Newton Health Insurance Company, the University of Jordan – Aqaba Branch, the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program, the Women and Gender Program in Jahd, and the Dental Health Department in the School Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health.

The campaign aimed to provide free medical services specialized in the fields of gynecology, women’s health, clinical examination, early detection of breast cancer, awareness activities on the occasion of Pink October, nutritional consultations, and awareness sessions on reproductive health and personal care.

It also included providing free integrated oral and dental services through an equipped mobile clinic, which included providing dental treatments, applying preventive fluoride, and awareness sessions on the importance of maintaining oral and dental health.

Specialized doctors, technicians, nursing staff from the University of Jordan – Aqaba branch, and health specialists participated in the campaign activities, providing direct awareness sessions on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.

The Charity and Charity Campaign affirmed its commitment to continuing to support less fortunate communities by providing field medical services, which contribute to alleviating health burdens and enhancing the quality of life for the target groups, within the approach of the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) aimed at achieving integrated development and empowering local communities in various regions of the Kingdom.

The head of the campaign’s medical team, Dr. Nayef Al-Abdallat, said that the campaign, in cooperation with its partners, attaches special importance to monitoring the most common health problems, and designing its programs to meet the health needs of the targeted areas, achieving integration of roles between the various national institutions, and ensuring everyone’s access to specialized and advanced health services.

Dr. Al-Abdallat praised the cooperation of the campaign partners with its programs, which contributes to achieving its noble and humanitarian goals, and meets the needs of the beneficiary communities and groups.
