Amman Today – The “Your Right to Know” platform followed the allegations circulated about the nature of work and appointments in the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
It confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that what was published is false and based on fabricated information sourced from a suspicious website outside the Kingdom that has been targeting Jordan and its institutions.
The platform explained that these allegations fall within a misinformation campaign to undermine the Ministry’s reputation and create confusion, noting that formal and direct complaints were submitted to the Cybercrime Unit for investigation, and tracking phone numbers and accounts suspected of communicating with the aforementioned website and providing it with fabricated news and information, in preparation for taking legal measures in accordance with the Cybercrime Law.
The platform also called for accuracy, obtaining information from its official sources, and not spreading rumors in order to preserve the public interest and the reputation of national institutions.
