Sarrah News – The Greater Amman Municipality is completing the “Amman is Sweet” campaign in its various regions, as part of the executive program for the cleanliness strategy and reducing random waste dumping.

The campaign aims to bring about a qualitative shift in the reality of public hygiene and reduce the phenomenon of random waste dumping by promoting the concepts of environmental sustainability and responsible community awareness.

The secretariat explained that the campaign will include neighborhoods, streets, mountain slopes, central islands, squares and squares, pedestrian bridges and tunnels, and commercial markets, in addition to the entrances and exits of Amman, and around archaeological and tourist sites.

Several neighborhoods will be selected from each region, in addition to mechanical sweeping of the main streets therein.

The secretariat confirmed that it has prepared a plan to sustain cleaning work in all regions during the holy month of Ramadan to ensure that cleanliness is maintained, especially in religious and commercial sites that witness active activity during the holy month, ensuring a healthy and clean environment befitting Oman, its residents and its visitors.
