Amman Today – An industrial delegation including 25 companies will begin a working visit to the State of Kuwait next Monday, to discuss strengthening the two countries’ economic relations and expanding the base of their trade exchanges.

According to a statement by the Amman Chamber of Industry, today, Saturday, the delegation, headed by the head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, will discuss holding bilateral business meetings with a number of major commercial centers in Kuwait, which will enhance the increase in the share of Jordanian products in them.

Al-Jaghbir pointed out that trade exchange between the two countries reached 176 million dinars in 2024, with the Kingdom’s exports concentrated in animal and plant products, and imports in petroleum products and their derivatives of natural gas, oils and oxygen gas.

He pointed out that the Kuwaiti market is considered one of the most promising export destinations for Jordanian industrial exports, with a high volume of demand within it, and Jordan having export opportunities in it, with the existence of the Arab Free Trade Agreement that exempts the Kingdom’s exports from customs tariffs.

Al-Jaghbir praised the cooperation of various official authorities in the Kingdom in facilitating the procedures for the delegation’s visit and arranging bilateral business meetings with their Kuwaiti businessmen counterparts.

He explained that Amman Industry will work during the current year to organize visits by industrial delegations to many sisterly and friendly countries, as part of its strategy to enhance the presence of Jordanian industrial products in the targeted markets.
