Sarrah News – The Zarqa Culture Directorate implemented the Nashama mural on an area of ​​approximately 800 square meters in a striking visual cultural scene, in support of the Jordanian national team and the Jordanians’ ambition to achieve honorable results in the 2026 World Cup finals.
The director of the Zarqa Culture Directorate, Muhammad Al-Zoubi, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that this mural, whose implementation was supervised by the visual artist Amin Al-Doumi and the participation of the artist Osama Al-Najjar, and with the help of a number of labor cadres, comes within a project implemented by the directorate in various regions of the governorate, indicating that this mural came with full support from the allocations of the “decentralized” Zarqa Governorate Council Committee, as it transformed the silent wall adjacent to the Gibraltar area on the desert highway, into A national painting that expresses pride and belonging, and embodies the presence of artistic creativity in public space.
He pointed out that the mural constitutes a qualitative addition to the cultural scene in Zarqa, as the colors mixed with national symbols, the features of the national team players, and moments of enthusiasm and victory, becoming an open painting that mimics the conscience of passers-by, and evokes the spirit of encouragement, support, and motivation, and rallying around the flag of the homeland and around the Hashemite leadership.
He pointed out that the work on the mural took 45 days, as the completion of this collective work reflected the integration of institutional efforts with young creative energies, stressing the role of culture in enhancing public taste, beautifying cities, and creating visual scenes that embody the meanings of pride and belonging to the homeland.
Al-Zoubi explained that the implementation of this mural comes as a continuation of the directorate’s project to paint artistic murals that give an aesthetic visual character and carry a national content that expresses loyalty to the Hashemite leadership and belonging to the precious wealth of Jordan. He pointed out that this mural represents a message of support from the cultural community in all regions of the governorate, to the Jordanian national team, and reflects the unity of the people with all their components and age groups behind the patriots of the nation, and loyalty to the wise Hashemite leadership.
Al-Zoubi stressed that the Directorate is continuing to implement field cultural initiatives that bring art closer to people, and transform walls into patriotic and aesthetic visual scenes and paintings that tell the story of Jordan and immortalize moments of joy, hope, and victory.
