Amman – European stocks fell slightly today, Thursday, paring previous gains with the end of the US government shutdown.
The European STOXX 600 index fell by 0.1 percent, with the performance of sectors and stock exchanges mixed, according to CNBC.
The British FTSE 100 index fell 0.52 percent and the German DAX index fell 0.65 percent.
On the other hand, the French CAC 40 index rose by 0.51 percent, and the Italian FTSE MIB index rose by 0.2 percent.
The Spanish IBEX 35 index saw no significant change.
