On Thursday, His Majesty King Abdullah II attended the opening session of the Jordanian-Vietnamese Business Forum in the capital, Hanoi.

During his speech at the session, His Majesty stressed the importance of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries and benefiting from Vietnam’s economic experience based on its advanced vision.

His Majesty the King pointed out the possibility of the two countries benefiting from their investment advantages to achieve economic integration and build an economic bridge between Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

His Majesty touched on opportunities for cooperation between private sector institutions in the two countries in the field of manufacturing medicines, electronics and textiles, and in the technological, agricultural and logistical sectors.

His Majesty the King highlighted the importance of building on the business forum and determining a course of action through the exchange of visits, experiences and institutional partnerships that ensure continuity and implementable results.

The forum brought together representatives of companies and chambers of industry and commerce in the two countries to discuss mechanisms for enhancing trade and investment cooperation and opening new horizons for economic partnerships between private sector institutions.

The session was attended by the Director of His Majesty the King’s Office, Alaa Al-Batayneh, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yaarub Al-Qudah, and the non-resident Jordanian Ambassador to Vietnam, Saed Al-Radaydeh.
