Jordan enhances its tourism presence by participating in the World Travel Market exhibition – Hala Akhbar

Amman Today – The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Tourism Promotion Board, is participating in the World Travel Market 2025 exhibition, which is being held in the British capital, London, from November 4 to 6, with the participation of representatives from the public and private sectors, 17 tourist offices and 3 Jordanian hotels.
The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Yazan Al-Khudair, opened the Jordanian pavilion at the exhibition, in the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador to London, Manar Al-Dabbas, and the Director-General of the Jordanian Heritage Revival Company, Muayyad Abu Rumman.
Al-Khudair met with a number of visitors to the Jordanian pavilion, including partners in the tourism sector, officials of international tourism companies, and representatives of international travel agencies, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and build future partnerships aimed at raising Jordan’s tourism status globally and introducing its diverse tourism components.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Al-Khudair held a press conference in the Jordanian pavilion in the presence of the Jordanian Heritage Revival Company and representatives of a number of the most prominent international media outlets specialized in tourism affairs. He conducted a number of interviews with international media institutions, including the Bloomberg News Network and Reuters.
Al-Khudair said, “The World Travel Market Exhibition is one of the most important international events in the tourism and travel sector, as the exhibition constitutes a major platform for promoting the Jordanian tourist destination and highlighting its position on the global tourism map, through the broad opportunities it provides to exchange experiences, discuss ways of cooperation, and build new partnerships with various international partners.”
He stressed that the exhibition represents an opportunity to introduce Jordan to its unique tourism components and features, and its abundant archaeological and historical sites and various experiences that reflect the richness and diversity of the Jordanian tourism product, pointing out that what distinguishes the Kingdom is the safe and stable environment that makes it a preferred and safe destination for tourists from different countries of the world.
Al-Khudair reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts in developing the tourism product, services and infrastructure to enhance tourism movement and attract visitors from various parts of the world, and the steps taken to enhance tourism from the European continent through strategic partnerships with the airlines “Wizz Air”, “Ryan Air” and “Eurowings”, appreciating the role of the Ministry’s partners in various sectors, especially the private sector.
The Jordanian pavilion at the exhibition witnessed a wide turnout from visitors, specialists and decision-makers in the tourism and travel sector, as the pavilion reviewed the diverse tourism components of the Kingdom, including archaeological sites and unique tourist experiences, highlighting the diversity of tourist destinations and the richness of experiences that Jordan offers to visitors from all over the world.
The exhibition, which is being held for the thirty-fifth time and brings together more than 4,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries, includes the participation of about 45,000 leaders in the tourism and travel sector in the world, as the exhibition is a global platform for introducing tourist destinations and enhancing cooperation between ministries, tourism bodies, customers and travel agents.
