On Sunday, the Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places clarified what is being circulated regarding the issue of one of the imams of mosques, regarding his promotion and drug use.

And the ministry stated in a statement that what was issued against one of the imams is an old matter related to an unofficial employee whose work was terminated by the ministry more than a year ago.

The ministry called on parents to exercise their familial and patriotic role in educating children and protecting them from drug dealers and promoters.

The Ministry affirmed its respect and appreciation for the role played by all imams, preachers, male and female preachers, and muezzins, which expresses the Ministry’s message and vision based on the Islamic call and strengthening the system of Islamic values ​​and morals.

It touches the reality of society, spreading virtue in society, and assisting state institutions and agencies in combating crime in all its forms and types.
